Family Recovery Services
When someone struggles with addiction, the entire family is affected. Loved ones are often left navigating fear, uncertainty, changing relationships, and difficult decisions while trying to figure out how to help. HM Behavioral Health offers specialized family recovery services designed to provide education, guidance, and support throughout every stage of addiction and recovery.
Your loved one does not need to be in treatment or ready for recovery for you to get support.
All Family Recovery Services are private pay and are not billed to insurance.
Family Recovery Services at HM Behavioral Health
Families are often expected to navigate addiction, treatment, relapse, boundaries, and recovery with very little guidance of their own.

Family Recovery Consultations
Sometimes your family doesn’t need ongoing therapy. You need help figuring out what to do next.
A Family Recovery Consultation is a focused, individualized session designed to help families understand what is happening, identify what is within their control, and develop practical next steps.
Consultations can help families navigate:
-
How to approach a loved one about getting help
-
Treatment options and next steps
-
Relapse or return to substance use
-
Boundaries and enabling concerns
-
Repeated family crises
-
Difficult conversations
-
Returning home after treatment
-
Early recovery and changing family dynamics
Your loved one does not need to participate. Parents, spouses, partners, siblings, and other family members can schedule a consultation independently.

Family Therapy
Addiction can affect trust, communication, boundaries, roles, and relationships long after a crisis has passed. Family therapy provides ongoing support for families who want to work through those impacts together.
Sessions may focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, addressing unhealthy family patterns, processing difficult experiences, strengthening boundaries, navigating expectations in recovery, and creating healthier relationships moving forward.
Family therapy is individualized based on the needs and goals of each family.
Family Therapy | $175 per session

You don’t have to know which service is right for your family before reaching out.
